About Me
Pool swimmer, turned triathlete, turned open water swimmer. I am juggling a career that I love, family life and trying to also set big goals for myself. When my dad passed away in 2021, I rediscovered solace in the water. I have always found peace and tranquility in the water, but it was even more apparent during that time.

When I finished the Alligator Lighthouse Swim in August 2022, it felt like long, ocean swimming was where I wanted to focus. I was intrigued by the process of staying completely focused in the moment, not worrying about how many miles were ahead, or how long until the finish line. Being present is something I am trying to work on in life, and that I struggle with while trying to keep everything afloat at work, at home, etc. But somehow, I am able to get closer while open water swimming to being present and in the moment.

Since then, I've added some swims to my resume and look forward to exciting upcoming events!
